Is output under 200 KB guaranteed?

No. Some images do not fit under the limit even at low quality. Tailorpix tells you; then also reduce the pixel dimensions.

Which formats support the quality search?

JPG and WebP in lossy mode. Other formats and lossless compression check the limit after optimizing.

What happens to automatic quality?

An active file limit replaces automatic SSIM quality and the manual quality. The highest quality that fits in the search is used.
